Radio MORE FM visits St Vincent Room

This morning Blair from More FM came to our classroom to interview us. He asked us really tricky questions and we spoke into his microphone. He asked, How are rainbows made? How does the weatherman know about the weather? What is a flutist? How do the traffic lights know when to change colour? Our answers will be on More FM all next week at 3.20 and 6.20.

Painting fish on driftwood

Sandie came in and brought some fish she had painted on driftwood. So we had the idea of painting some fish on driftwood too. So we sketched fish. Then we had to get a piece of driftwood and chalk it on then we painted the fish. We painted the scales on to the fishes, we did the skales with silver paint. They look good. Jack Gotty

Sketching

Sketching In the weekend at dad's, I drew a big tree with six snakes wrapped around the branches. I drew a small tree but a long snake on it. Dad helped me to draw a snake wrapping around a tree branch and now if kids want a tattoo I can do the snakes on their arms. i might be a tattooist when I'm older. Dylan Case.

Leading Light Award

On Friday at assembly I got the Leading Light Award for my first time and I was very proud of myself. I got the Leading Light for sharing the ball when we were playing Poison Ball at lunchtime. I shared with Tamzin, if she tries to get the ball and doesn't, she cries. By Cody Stringer 6 years old and 7 on September the 10th
